Everyone knows that seeing and hearing the band here would actually encourage someone to purchase the music. Wise copyright holders realize this and allow productions of this sort to continue to promote their music. Joydrop was an alternative rock band in the late '90s from Toronto, Ontario comprised of vocalist Tara Slone, guitarist Thomas Payne, bassist Tom McKay, and drummer Tony Rabalao.They released Metasexual in '99 and Viberate '01 with "Beautiful" and "Sometimes Wanna Die" both charting well. Beautiful was used on the soundtrack of the film Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed while the end credits roll with the latter on MTV2 in the US during the summer of 2001, thanks in part to a music video featuring Tommy Lee. They appeared as themselves, performing the both songs on an episode of Special Unit 2. Following the band's breakup, Slone released a solo album and was a contestant on Rock Star: INXS. Tony Rabalao put out a CD under the name Lehlo, but plays in Tara's current band as well. Tom McKay produced and worked on Tara's and Tony's CDs. Thomas Payne is writing and producing with other artists. Video was grainy so poster checked a second copy and it was grainy as well so likely to have been intentional, although it might also have been related to the vhs stock used as recording media or the vcr used for recording. Did a minor amount of soft focus to remediate and letterboxed slightly owing to tracking problems on vcr (10 yr old tape). Remastered sound.. + Informações
