Desperation Band, birthed out of the student ministries of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, is a recording artist with Integrity Music. They continue to lead worship both within the student ministries and in the main services at New Life Church, as well as at the annual Desperation Conferences. The Desperation Band has recorded four albums for Integrity music, including their self-titled debut, their sophomore effort "From the Rooftops", the critically acclaimed "Who You Are", and their most recent release and quickly rising "Everyone Overcome". We recently had a worship night with beautiful testimonies of God's love and mercies, poetry readings, prayer time, music and spaces for solitude. Just time to drop the cares of the world and focus soley on God. What a huge blessing it was. During this song, we privately wrote our struggles, issues, faults, and sins we know of on index cards and then wrote "Overcome" in red marker over them, as God loves us so much he took our burdens at the cross through Jesus and Overcame all of our sins and iniquities 3 days later with the resurrection.
