www.onlyrevolutions.com I've been meaning to do a Johnny-centric HoL trailer for some time. I originally planned this to be very fast and dark with shots of tattoo needles, blood and splintered wood. but I got lazy and this is what I ended up with. Lude was also supposed to appear in this, but I couldn't think of a suitable actor for him(suggestions, anyone?), neither could I come up with anyone to be Thumper. In the end though I chose footage of a tweaked out looking Ryan Gosling and I'm pretty pleased with how it worked in the video. There's also some random imagery thrown in. A sidewalk memorial, my broken attic doorknob, notebook scribblings, my Tegan & Sara book. Plus, I threw in some clips of random actresses to symbolize the string of women Johnny comes across in the book. I know not everyone cared for the Radiohead song I used in my previous HoL video, which is fine, but I really felt this one helped create a certain eerie atmosphere. While I did try a few other tracks, none of them fit naturally with the footage. I just couldn't get away from Radiohead's Talk Show Host, because it was simply the only track that felt ''right'' for a Johnny video.. + Informações
