I'm not a big fan of the truckin' songs, but once in a while I come across one that I like, and this is one of them. Obviously it's the title cut to the album pictured in the video. A #48 hit in 1968. Johnny's a pretty good singer, and reading about his career it was pretty shocking to find out he killed himself in 1986, not long after losing his voice to throat cancer.. + Informações

I don't know anything about Johnny Dollar. I bought a reel-to-reel tape deck off a cousin of mine in Missouri back in '87. I was needing something to play on it so I borrowed a tape off my brother that had Gene Tracy and Rusty Warren on one side and Johnny Dollar and Redd Foxx on the other.
