This video and music is a big change from my other uploads. First of all, I'd like to thank SonyVegasPete for taking my original video file and working his magic on it. I provided my audio and video files to Pete and in a very short time he sent back to me his finished product. You're amazing, Pete! The audio was made by me in early 2002 - nearly 10 years ago. I created the vocals, the guitar playing, and the whistling. The other portion of the music is from a midi file that I found on the internet 10 years ago. I edited and modified it for my purposes but I have no idea who originated it. I hope whoever made it doesn't mind what I did with it. Initially, I was just going to upload the song with maybe a brief photo slideshow to go along with it. After communicating with Pete, however, I decided to make a video of myself. No secrets here - I lip-synced to the audio that I produced long ago. You might notice a few irregularities :) This song was co-written by John Prine and Roger Cook and was first released on Prine's 1986 album "German Afternoons". George Strait recorded it and turned it into a big hit in 1998. I have a video of Daniel O'Donnell singing it also, if you know who he is.
