Even before Kimberly's birth, she was headed down the road to performing Traditional Honky Tonk Music, as her momma was performing with a 3 girl singing act along side artists such as Buck Owens, Tommy Collins, Larry Gatlin, Bill Mack, Little Jimmy Dickens and many other greats of the 1950's, '60's & '70's. On the other side of the equation, her daddy was the Sheriff of Comanche County Texas for many years and she was raised in a home just below the jailhouse. Being in that environment as a child, Ms. Murray was gifted with a work ethic and set of principles you don't find much in the music business today... She even became a Corrections Officer herself! Kimberly Murray has become an accomplished Singer/Songwriter that really knows how to put on a show! She too has shared the stage with some country legends, (like momma, like daughter), the likes of Gene Watson, Johnny Rodriquez, Johnny Bush, Curtis Potter, Tony Booth, Leona Williams and more, but the thing you'll notice when you see Kimberly's show, is the artful combination of great Traditional Country Music with an amazing youth and vitality that makes the style almost new again!!
