A quick comparison of 4 Framus guitars and a brandless oddball. All converted to lefthanded. First two are a black- and an orange version of '70s Framus Strato 6. Wide range-ish humbuckers, Jazzmaster style bodies (so SY's Jazzblasters 10 years before Lee Ranaldo :)). Slightly different tremolo systems and different pick up set ups (closer to the strings on the orange one). 3rd guitar is a recent eBay acqisition. No brand small hollow body guitar. Pickups are alright, but will be swapped in the future. Tuners as well. Nicely constructed body, though. I added my Duesenberg tremola RL and a roller bridge. Works OK. Sounds OK, plays OK. 4th guitar is a '74 Framus studio-ish model with a GFS AlNiCo Fat Jazz pickup. Fifth is a '66 Framus 5/108, thinner jazz-box. It has a Schaller jazz pickup installed. Amp is a '66 Hohner Orgaphon 18MH tube amp, mic'd with a Sennheiser MD21 and an AKG perception 220, into a presonus bluetube preamp, and finally into an M-Audio USB mobilepre.. + Informações
