Jaye P. Morgan - Carousel Dreams 4.70 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 1085 exibições Jaye P. Morgan / Lately! This Dejavu CD reissue of singing star Jaye P. Morgan's original Palace LP record album (1983) contains "Carousel Dreams" by Verne Langdon, a track recorded for but not originally included on the vocalist's 1983 album. An introspective composition, the song came to be as a combined result during the1960's when the author would go down to the carousel on the Santa Monica Pier to reflect on things; that was Verne Langdon's "quiet place". In 1973 He learned there were plans afoot to raze the merry-go-round and building which housed it. Langdon became so distraut over it that he was compelled to write a song - his very first - about the carousel, what it meant to him, and that time of deep contemplation in his life, The name of the song is Carousel Dreams, and through the years it has been recorded by Kay Starr, April Stevens, Jonathan Winters, Verne Langdon (it can be found on his Dejavu 'Love Is All" album), and Jaye P. Morgan. Here is Carousel Dreams by Jaye P. Morgan, with exquisite visuals by Kelly Mann. PS Happily, the carousel has survived the planned ravaging of "progress" and today remains as ever a symbol of joy for children of all ages who visit the seaside attraction every day. Produced by Keith Crary, Mike Donaldson, and Verne Langdon. A product of Dejavu Record Company. Visit the Official Jaye. P. Morgan Website at www.jayepmorgan.com. + Informações |
