Performing songs from their hit new album Grand National as well as some old favourites, the John Butler Trio rocked Fed Square before heading off on their world tour. The John Butler Trio is primarily an eclectic roots/jam band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. Two of the band's albums Three (2001) and Living 2001-2002 (2003) have gone platinum in Australia and reached the top ten of the Australian album charts in those years. The 2004 album Sunrise Over Sea debuted at number one on the Australian charts on March 15, 2004 reaching gold record status in its first week on sale. My daughter, Sarah introduced me to the John Butler Trio...and, I immediately became a fan...And, I just wanted to share their universal message with you all... Living in Florida, yes, we do have beautiFul beaches, but we sure do not get fall colours like so many of you are experiencing right now...so, I make these videos to escape to....one can go anywhere right here...sometimes that is not a good thing...now, that this is complete, I am going outside tomorrow...this can be too much of gooD thing.. note: In the video where the neon dollar sign moves in..it was movie maker magic and a higher power than me...that matched the S curve of the dollar sign and the desperation of the woman living on the edge....got to give credit where credit is due....it is not about me...it is about loVe and hoping my productions bring joy, peace, love, and reality..and, most of all the LoVe of GoD..? Deux albums de leur création ont obtenu la mention platinum en Australie et ont gravi le top ten des charts en Australie durant ces dernières années : "Three" (2001) et "Living 2001-2002" (2003). The John Butler Trio are an eclectic roots/jam band from Australia led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. Two of the band's albums ? Three (2001) and Living 2001-2002 (2003) ? have gone platinum in Australia and reached the top ten of the Australian album charts in those years. The 2004 album Sunrise Over Sea debuted at number one on the Australian charts on March 15, 2004 reaching gold record status in its first week on sale. Their next and latest release, entitled Grand National, was released on March 27, 2007. The band's releases are marketed independently by Jarrah Records which John Butler co-owns with West Australian folk band the Waifs. The band won an ARIA award for "Best Independent Release" for Three in 2001 and again for Grand National in 2007 and has been nominated for three others. Three was released in the US in 2002 and the John Butler Trio toured the US in that year supporting the Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer. John Butler was born on April 1, 1975 in Torrance, California from an Australian father and American mother. He was named after his paternal grandfather, a forestry worker who died in 1952 while fighting a bushfire in Nannup, Western Australia.
