Booth and the Bad Angel - The Dance Of Bad Angels (HD) Booth and the Bad Angel was a music project based around the collaborative efforts of Tim Booth (lead singer with the British alternative rock band, James) and the American film composer, Angelo Badalamenti. Featuring Bernard Butler on guitar, the project's eponymous album was released in July 1996. Biography The collaboration between Booth and Badalamenti was initialized in 1992, when Booth made an appearance on the UK Channel 4 TV show Friday Night At The Dome, which aimed to actualize collaborations between contemporary musicians and their heroes. Booth expressed his desire to work with Badalamenti, and the show's producers put the two in touch. At the time Booth was busy recording and touring with James, so could not find the time to meet with Badalamenti, but the two kept in touch via transatlantic phone calls for over two years before finally meeting. In 1995 Booth announced he would be taking a break from James to work on an album with Badalamenti. Booth contacted Butler, recently departed from Suede to provide guitar work for the album, which was recorded through late 1995 to early 1996. The album was finally released in July 1996 and promoted by the single, "I Believe" which made number 25 in the UK Singles Chart. Continuing my look at the James Bond film series - this time up, Roger Moore departs the 007 role and filmmakers and the public look to be in agreement in who should inherit the part. However, a series of circumstances prevent the seemingly inevitable announcement to happen and an unexpected choice is revealed. Once again, this segment grew to a much longer length than I anticipated. That's what I get for spending an evening of just watching Bond films, listening to the music and having acouple of drinks. I ended up getting much more verbose and detailed than I planned. I thought maybe this would come in three parts, but I was really off. Kinda weird how each of these gets longer as I go on. I thought of cutting this down, but I reconsidered and decided I would just leave all my golden thoughts untouched. Lucky you! Anyway, this is a six-part segment. I would have loved to just have posted this in one entire vid, but those darn youtube time limits. So I tried to break this up as cleanly as possible and not interrupt the middle of discussing a particular topic. This is not meant to be a definitive history of Bond and I'm freely willing to admit any errors. The timeline of potential casting has been corrected by some fellow YouTubers.
