To purchase Iron Butterfly click here: www.amazon.com I first got this album from my uncle when I was about 14. This was in the late 70's. I wondered "Does anybody listen to Iron Butterfly anymore?" This was at the height of the disco and punk era when nobody listened to 60's rock anymore. The first two tracks on this album hooked me (Possession and Unconscious Power). The riffs are neat, clean, and simple. The effects back then are rudimentary. They had to get a trippy sound using primitive equipment. I think they were ahead of their time.. + Informações

I worked all night, heavily inspired inside of me to express how I am currently feeling while riding the tail end of this severe Bipolar depression... The idea for this started when I researched the lyrics to the song, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, by Iron Butterfly and found that they originally had titled the song, In the Garden of Eden. Being a lesbian with no sleep, and feeling emotionally spent but artistically uplifted, I went to work. It took me 7 straight hours of work, but I did it, and I am happy with the result. This is yet another of my rare 45s, although it is much more common and easier to find than the previous Iron Butterfly singles I uploaded. This was recorded in 1971 after keyboardist/lead vocalist Doug Ingle left. So the lineup here is: Mike Pinera - Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals Rhino - Lead Guitar Lee Dorman - Bass/Vocals Ron Bushy - Drums So that makes this an especially interesting Iron Butterfly song to listen to. Esperen la segunda parte, tardaré un poco por que tarda un chingo en subirse(es muy pesado) y no tengo mucho tiempo para subir la otra parte ahora. La canción In the garden of Eden (en inglés) y In a gadda da vida(en idioma de la LSD) xD, el vídeo esta un poco viejo, salió a finales de los 60's o principios de los 70's no estoy seguro. La canción se grabó por ahi de 1968 pero no se cuando se filmó el vídeo. La historia dice que el vocalista/teclista del grupo estaba bajo los efectos de la LSD cuando grabaron la canción razón por la cual no pronuciaba bien algunas partes, como por ejemplo In the garden of eden, en vez de esto dijo algo parecido a In a gadda da vida, y dejaron los 2 títulos algunos lo dicen en la forma original y otros en la otra forma.. + Informações
