Mass media bombard us every day with war scenes. Past wars, present wars that come through our door invading our space and our minds. Images that the lords of war don't see or don't want to see, as they travel all over the world in their private jets, drinking a toast to the inevitable business at the world's best hotels, forgetting that thousands and thousands of innocent people die or are left physically and morally mutilated, without courage, at the mercy of those who decide to help them. This music was born spontaneously on one of those days when the images of innocent, hungry, injured, dead, desperate, lost, and homeless people appeared on television screens once more. Tired bodies, closed-lipped mouths and empty minds that lose the strength to fight. Without being pretentious, I wanted to give voice to all those who do not survive, to those live-dead who are incapable of dreaming and fighting or simply living. This music/story is divided into three parts. The first part talks about the war (sirens, bombardments, destruction, danger, and death). The second part is the post-war. There are no real bombs but destruction, hatred, fears, and in the minds of innocent people constant flashbacks of past sounds of sirens, bombs and horrors. Yet, they can still express what they feel. The third part represents loneliness, impotence, emptiness, and silence, with desperate attempts to survive and rebuild, which are never undertaken.
