INFERNAL POETRY: Nel marzo 2001, firmano un contratto con l'etichetta Fuel Records e nel gennaio 2002 esce il primo album della band Not Light But Rather Visible Darkness, un disco che mischia parti di puro Death metal con parti più melodiche. Sebbene scarsamente pubblicizzato, il disco pone definitivamente la band al centro dell'attenzione dei media e finalmente del pubblico. Sull'onda dell'entusiasmo per il debutto discografico, sempre nel 2002 viene registrato il videoclip della song "Hell Spawn". L'anno successivo pubblicano lo split album Twice insieme ai compatrioti e compagni di etichetta Dark Lunacy e il 2005 vede l'uscita del loro secondo album Beholding the Unpure, accompagnata dall'abbandono del batterista Andrea Rabuini, rimpiazzato successivamente da Alessandro Vagnoni. Il nuovo lavoro, incensato da pubblico e critica, si discosta dalle precedenti prove della band, allontanandosi da certi retaggi del Death melodico europeo e andando a comporre, attraverso l'impiego di suoni e soluzioni non allineate al genere, una personale rilettura della materia estrema. I media battezzano questo stile "Schizo Death Metal", definizione che la band fa propria utilizzandola per le successive pubblicazioni. Ad aprile 2005 viene girato il secondo videoclip della band: la canzone scelta è "Crawl". Nel febbraio 2006 partono per un tour europeo di 13 date a supporto dei Dismember in Olanda, Italia, Germania, Austria e Svizzera.
