All righty, like my first Zelda/Phantom of the Opera video, this video focuses on how I perceive Zelda and Ganondorf's relationship. Basically, I see Ganondorf as constantly trying to bring Zelda to his side, whether sexually or just as a partner. Meanwhile, Zelda doesn't know what to do since she both pities him and respects him. So we have this whole internal conflict within Zelda as she struggles against what she wants (desires) and what she knows is morally wrong. On another note, the title of this video, 'Impure Piety and Impious Purity' is a quote from Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing.' However, for this video, the 'Impious Purity' refers to Ganondorf and his pure evil nature, while the 'Impious Purity' means that Zelda is a false symbol of purity.;) Lastly, the Legend of Zelda and the Phantom of the Opera are copyrights of their rightful owners.
