Neil Young performs "Homegrown" at Farm Aid II in Austin, Texas on July 4, 1986. Neil Young is a co-founder and board member of Farm Aid, along with Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp. The three agreed that family farmers were in dire need of assistance and in 1985 planned the first Farm Aid concert for American farmers.
