This is a music video of Architecture In Helsinki's The Owls Go. I chose to do a video of this song first of all because I like their music, but also because the videos I had seen of their music were all very different and abstract, which I liked. I was inspired to do my own video of one of their songs that did not yet have a video. The rhythm of The Owls Go caught my attention. It has a lot of instruments that I hadn't heard before. When I listened to this song it made me remember the carefree joys of my childhood. Now that I am grown up I have so many responsibilities and feel weighted down. And so that's why I chose this song. The lyrics of this song are very ambiguous; listeners can interpret them in different ways depending on their experience. Although the song touches on heartbreak, the sound of it evokes the simplicity of childhood. I experimented a lot making this music video; I used different techniques such as paper cut, stop motion animation and frame by frame drawing. Finally, I worked in Illustration program to add different textures to the characters and background. I played around with the characters, the rhythm and sound to reflect the feeling of the music, the sound of 'bubbles', the happiness of childhood. This video was my undergraduate thesis project. I completed it in four months using Adobe After Effect and Adobe Illustration programs. It won The Outstanding Student of the Year Award2009 from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, Birmingham .... + Informações

I do NOT own Tremors, if I did, the TV series would still be running. (even though I didn't have clips from the TV series in here...) I also don't own any of the songs in my AMV. I made this for an assignment. Psych class, we had to choose an emotion and represent it. This AMV was due to be Time Of Dying, so I picked determination, and put it to Burt, his awesomeness, and the explosions that follow him. Making sister, bone bladed knives from a single moose leg bone that Jim (LamokaGhost) sent me. The handles are from deer leg bones, hafted with a mixture of pine pitch, charcoal and processed plant fiber. The hafting is elk sinew and the handles are wrapped with yucca cordage soaked with hide glue. The intro picture is a elk bladed knife, a wedding present for Jess "LOCOLOBO338". This is a Leopard gecko hide for a 12x12 exo-terra terrarium. Since 12x12 is not alot of space for 2 reptiles i made a underground warm hide that has 2 viweing windows so you can see the geckos while they are in the hide, and a removable area of the flat ground on top so you can reach inside to get at the geckos and for spot cleaning so you dont have to empty the terarium everytime someone poops. The hide is made of styrofoam insulation board. I cut and carve the peices with diffrent knives and exacto razor blades to give my hides all one of a kind shapes. Once iv carved and sanded all the peices i paint with a white pimer and then with a paint mix that has about half and halfpaint to desert sand. This gives the hides the look and feel of real rock but not the weight.
