Heber Valley Railroad trip. This continues from part 2. This video segment shows the train leaving the Provo Canyon and going past the Deer Creek Reservoir Dam and then continues Eastward along the Northern banks of Deer Creek Reservoir. My friend and I went to the back of the train to visit the inside of the yellow caboose and I climbed up into the second floor observation deck of the caboose and took some video out the front and back windows, then went to the back of the caboose and took some video out the back window and noticed a vehicle on the tracks that looked like a jeep that was chasing us! Then the train stopped and this cowboy looking character comes on board the train armed with a banjo! See video part 4 to hear him play his banjo! This is the last video segment of my trip on board the Heber Valley Railroad train. Me and some friends of mine took the three hour round trip train ride from Heber City, Utah to Vivian Park in the Provo Canyon near Provo, Utah and back to Heber City, Utah. The train was pulled by an old vintage 1907 Baldwin steam powered locomotive. In this final video clip, the train stopped to let this cowboy looking guy on board with a banjo and he played the banjo and we had a sing a long session. I actually found the Heber Valley Railroad train on Google Earth and shared a few of those images in this clip as well. This was one of the earlier uses of Robert Tansey's favorite plot (only the 3rd time he had trotted it out of the stable, but he got six more films out of it in later years) in which a group of outlaws (wrongly jailed this time) are let out to join up with the good guys against a worse bunch of outlaws. And, not unusual in the B-western genre, most of the production crew wore several hats; director Robert N.
