Melody's pov "Hey you alright?" she asked her capturing smile fading as she reached out towards me only making my chest tighten further. it was one thing watching someone that happy but it was even worst to see them lose it "Hmm..." Not my best story, and definitely a bit different from my normal stuff, but I thought I'd let you read! It's based off of the song "No Win Situation" by Honor Society! Story: The air was hot and stuffy in the little bar, with thick clouds of smoke drifting away from the designated smoking section making me gag. I leaned against one of the cluttered, dark red walls, which had a heavier stench than the air, and watched as my friends huddled around a pool table. Resting my head on a random picture frame on the wall, I realized this routine had become all too familiar. Everyone there knew me by name, I even had my own cue stick that no one dared to touch; that's how often I was there. The picture crackled behind me as I put more pressure on the glass, warning me to move or be cut. "Zach, you playing?" my best friend, Cameron, asked. "Do you even have to ask?" I replied with a smirk, pushing off the wall with my tailbone and gripping my cue even tighter. "You're going down this time," Cameron grinned confidently. "You've been saying that for years," I joked in return, chalking the tip of my cue. "This time I'm determined, and you're breaking," Cameron responded, pulling the triangle off of the table. "I got this," I chuckled, leaning down and aiming for the white ball lying in front of my cue. My arm pumped a few times as a practice before I actually hit the ball. The film is basically the HK version of 'Dog Day Afternoon' which is about a bank robbery that goes wrong. Tony Leung (Chiu Wai) and Ronald Wong are two young men in desperation after their bank robbery plans go wrong. It would have been pulled off too if Ronald hadn't had an epilepsy attack, drawing the attention to the two robbers before they had even started. The film goes on just as the original film it is based on (assuming you have seen that), with Ti Lung becoming the 'man in the middle' as such, who manages to get out of sight from the robbers and plans his own way of bringing the robbers to justice, but there is a lot more to him than first meets the eye, as the film soon takes another twist leaving the police unsure who is the real threat, the robbers or psycho, Ti Lung.
