Around 3 000 people attended the annual Franschhoek Oesfees - held on Saturday 27th March at Solms-Delta wine farm near Franschhoek in the Western Cape. Two thousand revellers celebrated the harvest in Cape Winelands style at the second Franschhoek Oesfees at Solms-Delta wine estate on 4 April. With traditional Cape food and music on the menu a 'lekker jol' was had by all. I invited a Chinese to play Hannes Coetzee's Spoon Slide Guitar song. He even happened to be a fan of Joe Satriani... Just joking! But it would've been cool, wouldn't it? Anyway, I just bought this awesome hat today and as you can see I'm wearing a Joe Satriani shirt and to top it all I'm playing on an Ibanez JS 1000... I was going through my hard drive and I found this extra take of a solo blues Robert Johnson cover I've already uploaded two versions of, but, hey, I really liked it, so, I thought I'd post it as a respoonse to JustinSandercoe's excellent beginning acoustic blues video, as an inspiration to anyone watching that as to where they could go if they stick with it. This is my version. After a few days of practice. For all the people that asked for the tab. Is not written correctly but i hope you understand. It's the regular tune EADGBE. You play the next chords (in this order): A, D, E (x4) then A, A7, D7, E7 (x2) then A, D, E (x2) $ you got it... the frets are played in the 1st string all the song. They go like this: 0 5 0 5 0 5 7 9 9 7 5, 2 5 2 5 2 5 7 9 7 5 7 (x2) 12 12 12 9, 12 12 12 9, 12 12 14 12 10 9 7 5 4 5 7 (x2). Then you hold in 12 for a while and then repeat the beggining. Some of the frets are pressed by the chords so you dont need to play them. It's easier if you listen to the song while you are playing it to understand the beat. I hope you can make it. If you show it to somebody, give me some credit. LOL...
