Not much to say here today... I am a bit late with the upload, but eh... Life has this bad habit of saying "work til you drop". Today we finish off Mega Man 3 with the last stage and credits and so forth... The stage is basically just some goodies and then the boss fight. Wily has control of Gamma for this boss fight, and you would think a giant, destructive robot would be a little more... lethal I suppose. Gamma ends up being more of a wuss than some of the Robot Masters in this game. For the first form all you need to do is fire Shadow Blades up at its head while dodging very easily dodged bullets. The next form is hardly anymore threatening... Just wait for Gamma's big, spiky hand to slide onto the screen to give you a lift up to the higher platforms (or use Rush Coil if you feel like taking a risk and hurrying). If you are not going for a no-damage run, do yourself a favor and just finish Wily off by giving him a kick to the face via Top Spin... otherwise pelt him with some Search Snakes and Hard Knuckles until he is taken out. For guitarists trying to work out whats going on here..... I play the first riff in the traditional way then its still the same chords around Gadd9, Eminadd9, Cadd9 and Dadd9,just played in a different way to be able to reach the melody notes.I use palm muting across the bottom 4 strings whilst leaving the top 2 strings free to bring out the melody.I use the capo on the 3rd fret because i like the sound of this piece as an instrumental in this key. You will notice on the Eminadd9 chord I use my Left hand 1st finger at the beginning of the bar but replace it at the end of the bar with my 2nd in order to reach the following melody notes.This actually isn't neccessary but it feels more comfortable to me.(Some people might calll it a bad habit).This piece is not difficult to play.Try it without muting until you can play it.Then add the muting later. Some chorus & delay effects are used to create a more atmospheric electro acoustic tone but the Breedlove guitar doesn't need any help at all to sound good.
