While the album was well received by critics and sold well, 5000 copies total, there was some minor controversy surrounding the decision by Shrapnel Records , the band's label, to not issue more copies after the limited run of 5000 were sold. This resulted in the band requesting to be dropped from the label, and voiding their three-record deal. We got suckered into playing Thanksgiving weekend, and while there were people there, nobody was up front.....and that guy had the whole floor to himself. This video is up because of this guy....we've/I've played a lot of shows.....and we have some stupid road stories....of people just like this guy....just glad Scott Stine babysat the video camera that night. This is the first portion of a 60 minute guitar clinic Hajis Kitchen guitarists, Scott Stine and Eddie Head did promoting the then new line of Ibanez 7 String guitars. This was around 1996 I think at the Guitar Center in Dallas Texas . Unfortunately the DVD I have this on is scratched and this was the only part I could salvage. Hopefully I can get it repaired and upload the rest. They demonstrate various styles of music that can be played on the 7 string, from Shred, metal, Country to Jazz. In 2003, Haji's songs Day After Day and Lost were featured in the Dragon Ball Z feature film Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan. However, shortly after the debut of the new songs, Mullins departed from the band in 2004. As of 2007, Haji's future is uncertain. They have no vocalist at this point in time, and the remaining members are in various side projects. However, in November 2006 a message came up on their official website stating that a new album was in the works. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.. + Informações
