A massive hail storm pounded McAllen, Texas on the evening of March 29. In north McAllen marble sized hail storms scared the residents. Little known to them were the golf ball sized pellets that shattered windows, broke trees in half. High winds ripped the leaves off the trees and streets all over town were piled in fall-like mounds of green leaves. Damage is high. One of the worst hail storms i have seen in 25 years. Myself,my brother and a few friends prepared for the worst and luckily we did when thousands of Golf Ball size hail stones hit Kilmore. We planned to goto the service station and park our cars in the car wash bays to prevent the hail boulders damaging our cars.
