I was recording and after about 3 takes, this was the best of the 3. There are silly mistakes that I don't usually make in here... especially near the ending with the Guitar/Strings split, some very minor timing issues, but overall I think this is a pretty good take. I really need to get used to recording myself with a camera... Hopefully there'll be another one soon that has live drums, live keys and live guitar too, but we'll see how it goes :) I know the drummer I think has his take, and we're still waiting on the guitarist, so I'll get to re-record this one for a final video-version with better audio. I didn't feel like importing the direct in of the keys and mixing it, so that's why I'm just using the audio from the video cam. When we do the good version, I'll be sure to have direct in :). + Informações

Johannes Linstead (also known as Sevara) is an award-winning Canadian guitarist and instrumentalist that fuses virtuoso Spanish-style guitar with Afro-Cuban, Middle Eastern, and Latin American percussion and instrumentation. His recordings of world music have all charted on Billboard Magazine. In 2007, Johannes was named "Guitarist of the Year" in the prestigious Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, and his CD, Cafe Tropical, earned a JUNO nomination for "Best Instrumental Album". Johannes began studying guitar at the age of eight, when he was given a guitar for his birthday. As he progressed, he naturally gravitated to the classical guitar, as that was the only music he was exposed to as a child. Starring Rosi (Kosmische Musik 1973) Ash Ra Tempel are one of the most notable German Krautrock groups of the 1970s, and are a notable example of cosmic or space rock. The group was originally founded by guitarist Manuel Göttsching, keyboardist/drummer Klaus Schulze, and bassist Hartmut Enke in 1971. All three founding members had previously played together as part of the short-lived group Eruption founded by Conrad Schnitzler. Prior to that Schnitzler and Schulze had worked together in Tangerine Dream. Ash Ra Tempel released its self-titled debut album in June of 1971. This release is considered by critics to be a classic of the genre; Schulze temporarily departed for a solo career shortly after its release. Schwingungen (1972), Seven Up (w/ Timothy Leary) (1972), and Join Inn (1973) are all considered key works from the band. Pop-oriented 1973 album Starring Rosi was thusly named because it featured lead vocals by Rosi Mueller. Their music is widely characterized as cosmic and atmospheric.
