It's been a while since I've gotten a chance to post any new videos, but today I've got quite a trippy treat for you: some weird psych from the obscure New Jersey band called the Group Image. The Group Image's only album, A MOUTH IN THE CLOUDS, was released in 1968 on the small Community label. It includes an eccentric mix of brief pop songs and longer, more experimental tracks. Here are the two songs that I enjoy the most: 1) "A Way to Love You All the Time" 2) "Banana Split" I found my copy of the Group Image album in an antique shop in Wooster, Ohio.. + Informações

With a little help by Jerry Scheff on bass and Marc Benno (guitar on LA Woman), this blues masterpiece still holds up after 40 yrs. After this, i'm sensing a 6th place finish just because i don't think they want college groups to overcrowd the final 4 and it's pretty much set that vocal point is their most favourite and afro blue does come from a college lol so that counts as one i guess. but it could be urban method going before they do but we'll see.. they sang Queen songs of "Killer Queen" & "Bohemian Rhapsody" & "Somebody To Love" Despite having an amazing performance this week which i find the best that this group has done so far. I'm glad that this group got better since their first performance and i didn't give them enough credit..a really talented group as a whole, not so much as any stand out singers though but still very good.
