Graham Nash - "Better Days" (1971) 3.85 min. | 4.961977 avaliação | 126813 exibições A gorgeous, deeply moving song. A pretty, uplifiting melody; mellow, midtempo groove; optimistic message, all delivered with his typical, emotional intensity. ____________________ Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Graham Nash - Prison Song 4.87 min. | 4.9589043 avaliação | 360760 exibições I do not claim any of the contents of this video. Please do not delete it. I just could not find this beautiful song in its original version anywhere in YouTube and I thought I should share it. Do not flame about the video, it sucks. Just some random wallpapers that I have in my PC. I spent around 2 and a half minutes to create this video and like 3 minutes to upload it, so I will not claim artistic prizes and stuff. Just enjoy the music. Lyrics: One day a friend took me aside And said I have to leave you For buying something from a friend They say I've done wrong For protecting the name of a man They say I'll have to leave you, So now I'm bidding you farewell For much too long. And here's a song to sing, For every man inside, If he can hear you sing It's an open door. There's not a rich man there, Who couldn't pay his way And buy the freedom that's a high price For the poor. Kids in Texas Smoking grass, Ten year sentence Comes to pass Misdemeanor In Ann Arbor, Ask the judges Why? Another friend said to her kids I'm gonna have to leave you For selling something to the man I guess I did wrong And although I did the best I could I'm gonna have to leave you So now I'm kissing you farewell For much too long. And here's a song to sing, For every man inside If he can hear you sing It's an open door. There's not a rich man there Who couldn't pay his way And buy the freedom that's a high price For the poor.. + Informações |

Almost Gone by Graham Nash and James Raymond 3.83 min. | 4.962906 avaliação | 31591 exibições Written and Performed by Graham Nash and James Raymond A companion video for "Almost Gone" -- a new song by legendary singer-songwriter Graham Nash and musician James Raymond (son of David Crosby) -- is being released today in support of accused US Army whistleblower Bradley Manning. The free download is available on Nash's website (www.grahamnash.com) and the Bradley Manning Support Network site www.bradleymanning.org. The release is timed to Manning's first judicial hearing scheduled for December 16th, following more than 17-months in custody, including a year in solitary confinement that Amnesty International has characterized as "harsh and punitive." Visually, the Almost Gone video is punctuated with bold graphics, disturbing images and harsh facts. Its release is scheduled to precede Manning's pre-trial hearing on December 16, which is the day before his 24th birthday. The Bradley Manning Support Network has named the following day, December 17, its International Day of Solidarity (events.bradleymanning.org PFC Manning, an Army intelligence analyst who had been stationed near Baghdad, was arrested in May 2010 under suspicion of leaking classified information, including a video showing the killing of civilians, to the anti-secrecy website WikiLeaks. Nash and Raymond composed the song "Almost Gone (The Ballad of Bradley Manning)" during this spring's US tour of Crosby-Nash, and the new recording serves as the music bed for the video; it features an impassioned lead .... + Informações |

Graham Nash - Military Madness 2.95 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 28842 exibições I do not own rights to this song . Lyrics: In an upstairs room in Blackpool By the side of a northern sea The army had my father And my mother was having me Military Madness was killing my country Solitary Sadness comes over me After the school was over and I moved To the other side I found a different country but I never Lost my pride Military Madness was killing the country Solitary sadness creeps over me And after the wars are over And the body count is finally filed I hope that The Man discovers What's driving the people wild Military madness is killing your country So much sadness, between you and me War, War, War, War, War, War. + Informações |

GRAHAM NASH /// 2. Better Days - (Songs For Beginners) - (1971) 3.85 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 509 exibições Artist: Graham Nash Album: Songs For Beginners (1971) Track: 2 When your love has moved away You must face yourself and say I remember better days Don't you cry 'cause she is gone She is only moving on Chasing mirrors through a haze Now that you know it's nowhere What's to stop you coming home All you got to do is go there Then you'll really realize what's going down Went to a strange land searching For a truth you felt was wrong That's when the heartaches started Though you're where you want to be You're not where you belong When your love has moved away You must face yourself and you must say I remember better days Don't you cry 'cause she is gone She is only moving on Chasing mirrors through a haze. + Informações |

GRAHAM NASH /// 3. Wounded Bird - (Songs For Beginners) - (1971) 2.25 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 673 exibições Artist: Graham Nash Album: Songs For Beginners (1971) Track: 3 I've watched you go through changes That no man should face alone Take to heel or tame the horse The choice is still your own But arm yourself against the pain A wounded bird can give And in the end remember It's with you you have to live And in the end remember It's with you you have to live Stand your ground I think you've got The guts it takes to win But you must learn to turn the key Before she'll let you in And understand the problems Of the girl you want so near Or you'll wear the coats of questions Till the answer hat is here You'll wear the coat of questions Till the answer hat is here Serenade your Angel with A love song from your eyes Grow a little taller Even though your age defies Feel a little smaller And in stature you will rise A hobo or a poet Must kill dragons for a bride And humble pie is always Hard to swallow with your pride. + Informações |
