Joe Allen "Should I Come Home (Or Should I Go Crazy)" 2.37 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 365 exibições Songwriter/session musician/singer Allen is probably best known for writing hits such as "The Midnight Oil", "Manhattan, Kansas", "Bedroom Ballad", and this tune, which was a #3 hit for Gene Watson in 1979. Joe's own version didn't fare as well, making it to #83 in 1975. PS: It should be COME home in the video title, not GO home. Don't try to eat and make a video at the same time. :). + Informações |

'Pick the Wildwood Flower' Original CASH Studio Recording.avi 3.00 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 6427 exibições Couldn't find it on YouTube, so here it is: The original studio recording of Johnny Cash and Mother Maybelle Carter of the Joe Allen tune 'Pick the Wildwood Flower' . This early 70's recording has always been one of my Cash-favourites, still wonder why didn't upload it any sooner than today. Sorry 'bout that! It's a great tune written by the great songwriter and bassplayer Joe Allen. As you all might know Cash and Allen wrote 'Fairweather Friends' for the album 'The Adventures of Johnny Cash' (1982 Columbia Records). Joe Allen was also present as bassplayer on a number of Cash-albums throughout the years. He also was part of the LIVE-band Cash took on the road to tour. More info on the Cash-touring entourage can be found on: en.wikipedia.org While surfing the net, i found a (appearing to be complete) list of songs Joe Allen wrote, on what album they were sung by what (mostly famous) artists and on which albums recorded by what artists he played bass (various Don Williams-albums and Bobby Bare's 'Hard time hungry's ' ... amongst onthers). To go see for yourself ( i must say, i found it very very interesting !!) on the following page/link: www.gene-watson.com The bass is the base of music and Joe Allen sure plays it from the heart! Enjoy! Love, peace and hope to all of you! The Doc. + Informações |

PICK THE WILDWOOD FLOWER 2.58 min. | 0 avaliação | 981 exibições There is a sweet little lass in Scotland. Her name is Margaret Brown. She is very fond of country music, and especially likes the artistry of Gene Watson. What's a lad to do? I picked one of Gene's best songs (they're all the best), and put it in a video for Margaret. Listen up, Margaret. This video is dedicated to you! Songwriter: Joe Allen Them Texas fields were hot and That tractor never was my kinda livin' And when I hit sixteen I had my size And I hit the road to freedom And I'm glad I wasn't there to see my mama 'Cause she must have cried for hours I still hear her sayin', Gary Get your guitar and pick the wildwood flower Now Dallas it was big and hard to find a job And so I didn't It was easier to hitch a ride to Houston And it was more like livin' Now, I've been down every road And I've stood on every porch where they were givin' And if they had an hour or a dime I would pick the wildwood flower It's hard to turn around and look back Down the roads that I have traveled 'Cause like a never ending ball of twine My dreams have come unraveled And now as evening lays it's shawl Across the shoulders of my life I have defined I couldn't tie my life together With guitar strings and a poet's heart felt line And I'm so glad I wasn't there to see my mama 'Cause she must have cried for hours I still hear her sayin', Gary Get your guitar and pick the wildwood flower. + Informações |

As a country songwriter, I felt I just HAD to write a Cheatin' song and this is what I came up with. I wrote it as a two chord traditional honky tonk song, but was persuaded by my good friend Gary Carter to produce it in a more modern style. I think it works very well like this, but maybe some day it'll get a traditional honky tonk treatment. Lawrence John Deejay/ Songwriter/ Producer Belfast and Nashville. + Informações |

Pole Shift Threatens To Cause Weather Chaos - Alex Jones Tv 13.83 min. | 4.4170275 avaliação | 99457 exibições Will paying billions of dollars in carbon taxes to Al Gore and his cronies solve the problem? Paul Joseph Watson www.prisonplanet.com www.infowars.com Monday, February 7, 2011 According to some experts, the world's weather is about to get even more chaotic as a result of natural climate change that we can do absolutely nothing to prevent -- and even though global warming alarmists may exploit the consequences to advance their own political agenda, paying a carbon tax to Al Gore will not lessen the impact of a potentially catastrophic magnetic polar shift. In layman's terms, the most apocalyptic outcome of a polar shift would come as a result of the the poles flipping, with the south pole becoming the north pole and vice versa. The good news is that on average this only happens every half a million years, but the bad news is that it hasn't happened in roughly 780000 years, with some experts warning that the planet is overdue. Pole flips have been known to happen only 50,00 years apart. If it happened, a complete pole shift would cause "superstorms in the future with winds as high as 300 to 400mph...which "would totally destroy anything they came into contact with on land," writes Terrence Aym for Salem-News.com. "In between these flips, the magnetic field can become quite weak and chaotic, causing "turbulence" in the field, which can effectively cause weaker gaps in the magnetosphere," writes Mike Adams. "These magnetic gaps or weaknesses can allow outside influences that .... + Informações |

Twelve and Counting: The National Championships of Alabama Football 0.52 min. | 4.3333335 avaliação | 4677 exibições Alabama football is a story of winners who have established a championship legacy, and Twelve and Counting tells that glorious story by focusing on each of the twelve times, so far, that The University of Alabama football team has won the national championship. Dating back to 1925, when Wallace Wade coached the Crimson Tide to an undefeated season and earned a spot in the Rose Bowl, the driving goal of every season has been that ultimate crown. When Alabama defeated Washington 29-13 in the 1926 Rose Bowl, celebrations occurred throughout the South, and the Crimson Tide became known as "Dixie's Football Pride." At every whistle-stop from Texas through Louisiana and into Mississippi, fans of all ages crowded depots to get a glimpse of the Tidesmen who had brought prestige to southern football by defeating the West Coast power. With such now-legendary players as Johnny Mack Brown and Pooley Hubert among them, the team was mobbed in Tuscaloosa as they paraded from the railroad station to the Quad for a celebration never before experienced in the Deep South. There would be many more crowning moments for the Crimson and White. A winning team surfaced the very next year, when Wu Winslett's squad sealed the national championship at the Rose Bowl for a second time; then winning seasons and bowl games culminating in the coveted crown followed again in '30, '34, '41, '61, '64, '65, '73, '78, '79, and '92. Among the many outstanding coaches and players associated with these national .... + Informações |

What in The World Are They Spraying? | Reality Zone 7/8 [HD] 14.65 min. | 4.4666667 avaliação | 8798 exibições PLAYLIST - www.youtube.com | What would you say if you were told that airplanes were regularly spraying toxic aerosols in the skies above every major region of the world? Mauro Oliveira, the Webmaster of Geoengineeringwatch.org, was one protestor recently. He claimed that the program for Stratospheric Aerosol Geo-engineering (SAG), AKA chemtrails, has been well under way around the world. As a matter of fact, Oliveira stated that witnesses from around the globe claim that heavy aerosol spraying is occurring almost every day over just about every city. He went on to explain the difference between a contrail and a chemtrail. He stated that when a jet airplane flies at a certain altitude, a visible trail of streaks of condensed water vapor sometimes form in the wake of the aircraft. This is called a contrail. Contrails are normal and usually dissipate in a few seconds. They are very similar to when we breathe in cold weather. According to Oliveira, what occurs behind a SAG plane spraying aerosols is quite different. What can be seen is a thick white line also called a chemtrail that lingers in the sky for several hours. The SAG lines are sprayed into the upper atmosphere and then spread out forming what then appear to be clouds. The particles from these aerosols then fall to the ground where they enter our soil and water and can also be inhaled. Wake Up / Look Up!. + Informações |
