Here is the latest demo video featuring the Analog Alien FuzzBubble-45 fuzz face. In this video I show you how to set up the FB-45 in what I call a 1-2-3 combination. It really shows how versatile the FuzzBubble-45 is and how handy it can be in a live situation. The Pete side is set up for medium gain and the Jimi side is set for more of a power chord distortion - not a fuzz face sound. The FuzzBubble-45 is more then just an overdrive fuzz face pedal. The two circuits can be made to sound similar to each other, which makes the FB-45 more flexible than most pedals in its class. The guitar I've selected for the demo is a Rickenbacker Pete Townshend limited edition. This guitar was produced in the 1980's with a limited production run of only 250! It is a sweet Rick that sounds great played clean, distorted, or fuzzed up. The amp I used was a 1960 Fender Bassman - a classic sounding amp that was also used by Pete Townshend back in the 60's. This is the first video in a two-part series. In this video, I describe in detail the different parts that make up a Stratocaster that I used in one of the promotional videos for the Analog Alien FuzzBubble-45. The video is called, "The FuzzBubble-45, Unleashed". The start is not a stock Fender. It has been modified heavily by me in order to get a tone similar to the one SRV got with his #1 Strat. The Body is a 2005 Eric Johnson with a purr nitro finish. The neck is made by Warmoth. I bought it back in the mid 80's. The pickups are a set of hand wound Sliders model 59-SRV and sound killer. Just as important as anything the guitar is made of are the strings that you put on it. I used a set of GHS 1300's to get that SVR tone. This is the same set that Stevie used on his Strats. The Analog Alien Fuzz Bubble 45 is a boutique guitar overdrive, distortion fuzz face pedal which is two pedals in one. Recreating vintage guitar sounds from the 60's & 70's is a snap with this pedal. The texture of this pedal is not harsh or brittle but smooth and natural allowing your guitars true tone to shine through. In this demonstration jack uses various guitars from his collection so you can hear for yourself how the Fuzz Bubble 45 enhances the tone of your guitar. The guitars that were used were a Fender Stratocaster highway one, a Gibson 1992 Les Paul standard, a Gretsch Junior jr and a BB King Lucille. This is the latest promo video I did for the FuzzBubble-45 fuzz face - distortion pedal. It was recorded at Cloud 9 Recording studio a few days ago. I'm playing one of my favorite strats through a Vox AC30. The body of this strat is a Fender Eric Johnson model but the neck and pickups have been changed. I put this strat together using parts from other guitars. I'm going to feature this guitar in a fuzzZone blog post. I'll tell you guys more about it then.
