It's hard to believe a time when there was no Death. In a long line of worthy masters, Death surely deserves a tribute album. Already, bands like Atrocity, Incantation and Nocturnal Breed have recorded Death covers. The band Control Denied was formed by Chuck Schuldiner to create progressive/heavy metal, mixed with elements of death metal recognizable in his earlier band Death. The band started in 1996 as Schuldiner wanted to procure a more melodic style than was possible with Death. The project was interrupted by Death's release The Sound of Perseverance in 1998, but finally the debut album was released in 1999. A second album, tentatively titled When Man And Machine Collide, was partly recorded, but the death of Schuldiner in 2001, put the recordings on hold. Line Up: Chuck Schuldiner (Guitar) Shannon Hamm (Guitar) Tim Aymar (Vocals) Richard Christy (Drums) Steve DiGiorgio (Bass) All of the pictures from Altamonte Springs in 1996 are of the original Control Denied lineup before there was a confirmed singer. They were taken at Chuck's house/home studio/rehearsal room, etc. They rehearsed there from early 1996 through mid-late 1997. Then we started rehearsing in downtown Orlando with Richard as Death, working on Perseverance and material from past records. On December 13, 2001 Chuck passed away after a struggle of 2,5 years. A Progressive heavy metal band mixed with some elements of death metal Formed By Chuck Schuldiner called CONTROL DENIED among its talented line-up 1 of the great Bassists Steve DiGiorgio and this is one of his great basslines forgive my mistakes here and there, i used tabs and did my best in correcting and adding to it but i think i didn't destroy anything enjoy and feel free to comment. + Informações

This is my cover of Consumed by Control Denied, an amazing song that sends chills down my spine every time I listen to it. Sorry if you get motion sickeness from watching it, I was jammin out and tapping my foot to the beat, and I guess it rocked the camera a little.
