Parmi ses éléves, il y en a un qu'elle remarque. Plus mûr, plus doué, plus délicat que les autres : Lakdar. Son rêve, c'est de faire de la bande dessinée. Il a du talent, il a été encouragé par un pro... Mais il lui est arrivé une tuile : une chute accidentelle, un plâtre trop serré aux urgences, résultat sa main droite reste inerte. Il ne s'en fait pas trop, il pense qu'on va l'opérer et qu'il pourra de nouveau dessiner. Mais un médecin plus courageux que les autres lui avoue la vérité : c'est définitif, il est infirme.
