In the final weekend of August 2008, Emily Kokal was at Eagle Rock studio 'The Ship' lending Chris Brenner a hand by singing some beautiful harmonies for him. The session is called 'Taking the Back Roads'. They recorded two demos together, "You're No Good for Me" and "Love Songs". Emily Kokal is well-known as a member of the all-female band Warpaint. In the nineties, Chris Brenner used to take part in a few bands with Milla Jovovich. Shortly after the sessions, Chris talked to me about the recording process. He also agreed to share the demos on a Christmas gift album to all members of EKAP (a group of fans and friends of Emily). Last night's episode, "Breaking the Code," brought us that one step closer to finding out who A is. There were several important moments, as more and more characters are being affected the evil rampage of A, including Mona and Hanna's mom. However, the character we're most concerned with currently is Emily's girlfriend Maya, who was very noticeably MIA throughout the entire episode. At the close of "Breaking the Code," after several attempts to get in touch with Maya, Emily opens her door to find a police officer at the door, who wants to talk to her about her missing girlfriend. Of course the last time we saw Maya, she and Emily had a huge fight, and we haven't seen or heard from her since. So is Maya dead, missing or just on a quick vacation? And we're also looking forward to finding out about the future of Ezra and Aria now that her mom is opening up a bit to their relationship. And let's not forget about drunk Spencer's make out session with her sister's ex-fiancé. Oh and if that's not complex enough, don't forget to keep Spencer's sister's creepy relationship with Officer Garrett Reynolds in mind as well. So yesterday, when this episodes aired i saw it and noticed a pattern in the episodes. Every episode they've played so far has been based on one character at a time! However, she never told me that it was an imitation iPod. She conveniently left that out and led me to believe that it was a genuine product. I raised the dispute as soon as I figured out it was a phony, so she couldn't have had my money for more than half a day.
