Apotos Night Apotos Hub Here's one thing that's present in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version that isn't in the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions. Well, not absent completely, but greatly diminished. That would be the Uncanny Camera sidequest, revolving around, well, an odd camera that Chip carries around. You see, when night falls, Dark Gaia manifests itself in some people. This "Dark Gaia influence" causes people to behave in odd ways, usually in the opposite way they'd act during the daytime. In this case, our subject is Sammar, a girl who is apparently lost in Apotos. By day, she's meek and confused. Makes sense, as she's found herself in an unfamiliar land by accident. By night, she's strong-willed and confident but claims that she has an excellent sense of direction. Dark Gaia causes her to behave like this, which is where the Uncanny Camera comes in. The Uncanny Camera is a gift from Professor Pickle to Chip. He uses it to expel Dark Gaia out of people. at any time in a nighttime hub, if Sonic the Werehog is standing near a person, Chip can snap a picture of them with the Uncanny Camera. Forcing Dark Gaia out of people isn't the end of it though; the essence of Dark Gaia form into monsters that Sonic must fight and eliminate. Once he does, then that person will feel reinvigorated and can get on with their lives. While Apotos is the first region of the game, Sammar doesn't show up here until about 60% through the game, which means the monsters are no slouch. The .... + Informações

Episode: The Way of All Flesh Level: Dark Carnival Secrets: Twelve Difficulty: Well Done Wow, this promises to be fun! After derailing the Phantom Express in extravagant style, Caleb arrives at the Dark Carnival and, quite possibly, a candidate for my most favourite level in the game. There's shooting galleries, kick-the-zombie-heads-in-the-mouth game, a corridor of delights, Jo-Jo the circus boy (who's inconspicuously absent) and a Gargoyle-go-round! Gargoyles! On this difficulty, they move a hell of a lot faster than on the lower difficulties. Saying that though, they're fairly easy to dispatch. As long as you keep moving and firing at them then they shouldn't cause you too much trouble. BUT! That's for when you're dealing with ONE of them. In groups (like with any other enemy), they can be very dangerous. Moving around like a bat out of hell, throwing bones and clawing away at you can make novice players victims to their onslaught. Of course, novice players should really start on an easier difficulty but who am I to decide what's best for them?! Bone Eels! Underwater vermin I call 'em! They shouldn't cause you too much bother as they're one of the weaker enemies in the game. They move very fast on this difficulty though so make sure you've got your wits about you when you submerge for some underwater combat. Be on the lookout for an old friend during this level. Ceither enters the maw, and Cait Sith tells Karinastar and Lilisette to allow themselves to be sucked in as well. The scene shifts to Walk of Echos, where Karinastar, Lilisette, Portia and Cait Sith all lay unconscious. Lilisette awakens to see Portia being hefted up by Larzos. She also sees that Aquila, Haudrale and Lilith are all there. As Karinastar and Cait sith also wake up, Ceither staggers towards Lilith, obviously severely injured. Lilith embraces him, and then finishes him off. Portia awakens, and calls out to Lilisette and Karinastar. Lilith complements Karinastar, calling her an intriguing woman. Her name is then revealed, and Haudrale informs the group that she comes from a different Vana'diel. One where the war never ended. Lilith reveals orbs containing the memories of Lilisette's dancer friends, consumed by Atomos. She then throws one, shattering it. She reveals the nature of Atomos, and Cait Sith objects, referring to Karinastar and Lilisette as the Champions of the Dawn, chosen by Altana. Lilith states that the future is not to be chosen by an absent deity. The discussion is interrupted by Haudrale, who says they must go. Tipu Sultan reached the door of Fort of Srirangapatnam with his bodyguards and troops on 4th May 1799 for the fourth Mysore war. Due to his appearance there was a great encouragement for his soldiers who were fighting inside of the north gate and outside of fort walls. They attacked with great force on the army of the enemy. The Sultan got down from his horse and joined the first line of the military group. Immediately he was in the middle of many Mysorean military groups, safe and protected. The soldiers were fighting without care of their lives. By this time the British army had occupied their positions at the fort walls. THEY LIVE! Yes, after being conspicuously absent for a few levels, the Kilmaat have returned in their droves and this time, they've brought some new friends with them. No doubt this new soldier has been drafted in to make my life oh-so much harder than it already is. You're damn right it makes my life harder! I loathe this enemy and all that it stands for. Cast your mind back to my video description (for this next part, I'm going to assume you read them - if not, shame on you!) of Aswan. I said that, even though the Kilmaat are annoying, there was one enemy that's even worse than them. Can you see where this is going...? What is this enemy that I speak of? Well, watch the video and see if you can spot it. Is it that giant wasp thing? Pah! It doesn't look that tough I hear you say. But this is an Omen Wasp - there's a difference. That difference is what makes them one of THE most irritating enemies I've ever fought in an FPS. Their movements are erratic, they get in the way more often than I like and upon spotting you, they'll show no mercy in stinging you relentlessly until you've proven to them that you should never piss off a marine with an M-60! So from now until the end, these guys (along with all the others) will be a constant threat and will also take great pleasure in winding me up no end. Episode: Even Death May Die Level: The Haunting (Part One) Secrets in this part: Five + One Super Secret (Eight in total) Difficulty: Well Done What a particularly apt name for a level that revolves around a rather spooky abandoned house surrounded by more frozen hedge maze nonsense. Not that that's a bad thing. In fact, the hedge maze in this level is surrounded on all sides by aforementioned hedge making traversing this overgrown frozen labyrinth more of a claustrophobic nightmare than the others. Hail the return of the Super Secret! They've been absent for quite a while but the way in which you have to reach this particular one is quite cryptic. Whilst in the hedge maze and before you reach the first iron gate, you have to crouch down and press an invisible switch which transports you to a room (presumably the attic of the haunted house) where all sorts of goodies lie in wait for you. A just reward for overcoming this intricate puzzle! Even after the level music has quietened to an odd hush, playing through the rest of the level with no background ambiance makes the place that more of an isolated horror-fest. Phantasms lurking around most corners, zombies scrambling out of the snow in the courtyards and Gargoyles are again ready to swoop down on any unsuspecting victim. Not this undead cowboy though! With Bowser defeated and the Princess rescued, Mario (or Luigi), Peach, Yoshi, and the rescued Yoshi eggs make their way back to Yoshi's Island. You can see the scenery of each of the Worlds (in reverse order, of course) in the background. In the GBA version (Super Mario Advance 2), whichever Mario Brother defeated Bowser will be in the front, while the other will be in the back, behind the Yoshi eggs. I gotta say, the ending theme for Super Mario World is one of my favorite ending themes ever. Once everyone makes it back to Yoshi's House, the eggs hatch, and everyone celebrates. The enemies of Super Mario World are then shown. It's worth noting that some enemies in the game are absent here; whether that was accidental or not isn't really known. It's a bit of an odd oversight, though. Also, the ending here reflects the one that is shown after the Special World is completed, meaning the enemy changes (ie, Mask Koopas, Jumping Pumpkin Plant) are present. Mr. Tim Kinsella recently excavated the tapes we made during the session and compiled a 4-sided LP called "Oh Brother" (Polyvinyl Records).
