Its hull was once a wind surfer board and it is powered by a 8 hp outboard motor. Its top speed is 16 mph. Hydrofoils are submerged wings. Hyfibe's wings are connected to the hull by struts. Water flowing over and under the wings create the lift. The principles of flight are much the same as in aircraft, but special attention must be given to roll, pitch and height control.. + Informações

The Classic Rotors Rotorcraft Museum Piasecki H-21B Shawnee 'Flying Banana' taxis after an air show. It does not sound like a 'typical helicopter' because it is powered by a 9 cylinder radial piston engine, not a turbine engine as most helicopters today. In 1957, when the H-21 was built, turbine engines were just beginning to be used in helicopters. The first turbine engine helicopter, the Kaman K-225, flew in 1951. The Classic Rotors Rotorcraft Museum H-21B Shawnee 'Flying Banana' on static display during the Point Mugu NAS airshow August 2010. This vintage helicopter was built in 1957 and is the only one still flying. Classic Rotors flies the H-21 to airshows throughout southern California to give tours as a static display or do flying demonstrations. Classic Rotors also has a museum hangar at Ramona Airport in Ramona, CA near San Diego. At the museum, there are about a dozen rotorcraft on display.
