What is a flatlander? Meatball soup: The little meatballs were just ground beef, a little salt and pepper, and flour (I didn't measure). I rolled them into tiny balls and put them in the frying pan with some oil and pushed them around with a spoon to brown them. The broth was actually some of the vegetable soup I made (chicken broth and vegies), a can of tomato sauce, and sauteed onions and garlic, and a handful of cilantro all blended up together in a blender (again, no measuring). Then I threw it all together in a pot, added more seasoning, and warmed it up. The homemade chips were just cut-up corn tortilla fried in oil until they started turning golden, drained on paper towels, and then salted. Yeah it was a bit of work.
