On Monday 22nd November 2010, Saks Fifth Avenue unveiled their iconic holiday window display to NYC. At the same time iris unleashed our Snowflake and Bubble 3D video mapping projection show. The 3D projection, along with original music, will run every night for the entire holiday season until the 6 Jan (6 weeks) - making it a world first in terms of 'scale' and duration. With the front of the store as the canvas, the show tells a festive tale of how Snowflakes and Bubbles struggle to live in harmony, before eventually coming together in the spirit of the holiday season. We partnered with projection mapping specialists SP-Projects on the technical mapping and animation. We also worked with Creative Technology to create a customized structure and control system to be able to handle such an ambitious project.
