Tools songs are all up for YOUR OWN interpretation but here is my take: Please, take tool's music and use it as your own personal tool to a greater understanding. A better angle of perception on life. Ok, so first, "jambi" is an Indonesian Province in Sumatra, which was once part of a powerful kingdom with a rich sultan who lived an opulent lifestyle. The title of the song obviously reinforces the general idea that even all the riches acquired by this lifestyle are far less important, than that of family friends ect. The songs "jambi" and "wings for marie/10000 days" take place cronologically. Jambi is taking place while Maynards mom is dying and wings for marie and 10000 days occur during his funeral. during the song, maynard "prays like a martyr dusk till dawn, begs like a hooker all night long" he is praying for the well being of his mother. Just look throughout the song and see what i am saying. When he says "the devil and his had me down" i suppose he is talking of some bad point in his life where he might have been in a bad spot or whatever it might have been. I'm not Maynard so I have no place to say what he is speaking of right here. Maynard goes on to say "but you changed that all for me" perhaps his mother helped him out of the state he was in with her prayers and guidance or whatever. ...of the 1990s and early 2000s. Without a doubt the video I put the most passion into and the one that took the longest to finish, I feel Top Ten Nostalgic Animated Shows is my finest work to date. My first countdown (aside from the BEER countdown) to not have anything to do with video games, this video was created as both a reflection of the shows I loved as a kid and a video highlighting the animation of the 1990s and early 2000s. With this, I aim to be able to show this video to anyone, as a nostalgic trip for those my age and as an informative piece for all other generations. I took fan suggestions into account with this video in terms of how it would be made. I've decided to use far less cutaway gags, and have gone back to focusing on narration that aims to both inform and pique interest. The result is something that I feel is very natural on my part. So now, enjoy my latest labour of love! A few notes: -I regretfully have never seen Invader Zim due to it having aired in Canada past 2005 (my cut-off date for this video). It's really a shame since I hear that as a show it has many things I would have liked. -My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is not nostalgic. SpaceShipOne launches from White Knight carrier airplane on the first of two X-Prize winning flights in 2004. Flight 16P of SpaceShipOne was a spaceflight in the Tier One program that took place on September 29, 2004. It was the first competitive flight in the Ansari X PRIZE competition to demonstrate a non-governmental reusable manned spacecraft, and is hence also referred to as the X1 flight. A serious roll excursion occurred during boost, so the flight did not achieve the expected altitude. However, it exceeded 100 km altitude, making it a successful X PRIZE flight. After takeoff, White Knight and SpaceShipOne ascended to the launch altitude, planned to be around 14 km. The first wave of the 6 inch Collectors Edition Thundercats 2011 Action Figures has arrived and it features Lion-O, Panthro and Mumm-Ra. Let's take a closer look at the biggest of the Thundercats, Panthro. The packaging is the same as the other figures in the 6 inch line. There is some nice Panthro artwork that makes him seem like one crazy SOB as well as photos of different poses. Panthro is the coolest of the new six inch figures in my opinion. He makes the best first impression and he is my favorite at the moment. Though he comes with far less accessories than the other two six inch figure (Mumm-Ra and Lion-O), it really makes no difference. Panthro is ready for action with his simple nunchuks. His arms are huge and he's got cool spikes on his leather vest, forearm and shin pads. He has a two-toned purple tone and many scars, indicating lots of battle experience. He features the same amount of articulation and can be posed in many different positions. He's also got a folded up, static pair of nunchukus that clip to the back of his belt. A nice touch. No attachable hands or hats or anything for Panthro. He means business. Panthro is available right now from various toy stores both online and in person. Here, the rhythmic sense has been altered more in line with my favorite interpretations of "Pictures at an Exhibition" the Great Gates of Kiev movement, and the beat has been increased too, this time to a far less sedate 180bpm. There are still some defects (and possibly a few off-key typos for a few notes that I really should double check, though I suspect they are there exactly because I took care to base this version precisely on the flawed Rimsky-Korsakov original published arrangement from 1886, to ensure that its public domain status would remain uncontestable. My rearrangement could probably use a lot more specific articulation in a few spots you may notice and/or cringe at. I am *such* a salesman. Despite being my own arrangement based on Mussorgsky's public domain 1872 composition, retaining errors from the 1886 published manuscript arranged by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, this composition has been ContentID'd and that claim is presently in good faith dispute. Synthetic performance also directed, controlled and recorded exclusively by my hand (and software). UPDATE: The bogus copyright claim seems to have gone away.
