PLEASE READ. Hey guys, you finally get to see what I have been working on for such a long time. I have to say that I apologize that not all of this is completed. I was getting tired of this episode, so I just decided to go ahead and posted. I will start working on Episode 2 now, and I hope to animate it more legitimately next time. I spent a couple hours the other day testing out the development version of BMesh for Blender by modeling a human head. There are a few quirks here and there but overall it's wonderful! The yet unfinished Crazy Horse Memorial mountain carving is located less than 30 minutes from the famous Mount Rushmore Presidential Memorial where the heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln were carved into the mountain rock for the eternity. The Crazy Horse mountain carving dwarfs the impressive Mt.Rushmore one in size and scale. Also the time to create it is an eternity compared to the Mt.Rushmore project. The sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski started working on it on June 3, 1948 and it is still far from being finished today. In contradiction to the the better known and federal funded Mt.Rushmore project is the Crazy Horse project entirely funded by the people who donate time, resources and money and by the admission to the visitor center and North American Indian Museum, which is located at the mountain base. A proud team that had been criticized and scrutinized came crashing down on the Knicks today. And the Knicks cracked under the strain. Making a strong statement that they are far from finished, the Chicago Bulls pounded the Knicks, 103-83, this afternoon at Chicago Stadium in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference championship series. The victory cut the Knicks' edge to 2-1 in the four-of-seven-game series, with Game 4 to be played here Monday afternoon. The Bulls returned to their home court, and returned to the form that has won them back-to-back NBA titles. They embarrassed and frustrated the Knicks, who eventually lost their poise. John Starks was ejected with 9 minutes to play, receiving two technical fouls for charging after Michael Jordan. Although Starks accused Jordan of throwing an elbow and sticking a finger in his face, Starks's reaction was another indication of his temper getting the best of him. This is the second part to my ongoing animation project, a tribute project to Superman and The Incredible Hulk. As you'll notice, the models and overall look has evolved and will continue to do so in future sequences. I'm already working on a new look for the Hulk on the next one. I got professional help this time in the music and sound design department, provided by the talented Francois Gratecap, which has made the whole project that much better. So my thanks to him. I welcome all comments but please keep that in mind when commenting. About the project specs : Created on an Intel i7-990X hex core 24 GB RAM, and and i7-920 quad core 12 GB RAM. It took about eight months to do the animation. The models and character puppets have been a work in progress for years prior though. Autodesk Maya is used for the all 3d modeling, animation, hair and cloth simulation. Z brush is used a bit for additional high detail model sculpting of the characters.
