This is a video I shot of EXHORDER on September 1, 1989 live at the St. Bernard Civic Center in Chalmette, LA. I was in the balcony, so it's a little distant, but hey, after I lost everything that I use to have during Hurricane Katrina in Chalmette, just getting back a small piece of history of the New Orleans scene puts a smile on my face. So enjoy! Between the VFW Hall on Franklin Ave., and Storyville Jazz Hall on Decatur Street in New Orleans, EXHORDER drew the biggest crowds for being an unsigned band back then. EXHORDER released 2 demos in the mid 1980's the blew the doors off of anything else at the time. They were finally signed to Roadracer / Roadrunner and released 2 albums in 1990 and 1992. Then inner turnoil caused the band to go on hiatus for years... Their about to reunite and destroy the world and I can't wait! They deserve so much credit for being the innovators of the power groove that influenced ALOT of bands over the years.
