This is a Bellydance video of me, improvising to the song "Evanescent" by the Persian group, Axiom Of Choice. This video was recorded during my performance at a Hafla. Out of all of the upbeat music chosen by the dancers, mine was the most "sad". I wanted to choose a song that holds meaning to me, and so I chose this beautiful Traditional Persian song. I will provide the translated lyrics below. I am a 19year-old Persian Bellydancer, with drops of Azerbaijani and Egyptian in my blood. This combination, aside many other reasons, makes me passionate about some of the most beautiful dance forms in the world - Oriental Dances.
