This is a great science project you can make with a battery, a magnet, two paper clips, some packing tape (to hold the paper clips to the battery), and some magnetic copper wire. We used thin copper wire, and I wraped it around a thin pencil to get such a good "O" shape for the moving part. Fun stuff. My motor was cranking!. + Informações

"Roll Over Beethoven" was a 1973 single released by the Electric Light Orchestra. It became a hit in the United States as an edited version of the track taken from the album "ELO 2". ELO's elaborate reworking of the track included an opening musical quote from Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and clever interpolations of material from the symphony's first movement into Chuck Berry's song. The band closed all their concerts for years using this number, which became their signature song. Electric Light Orchestra, commonly abbreviated ELO, were a symphonic rock group from Birmingham, England, who released eleven studio albums between 1971 and 1986 and another album in 2001. ELO were formed to accommodate Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne's desire to create modern pop songs with heavily classical overtones, but falling under a light rock category. Thanks for subscribing! This is a film clip of two females assembling, unfolding a three (3) wheel electric car. The car can be fashioned as either a convertible with side doors or as a front entrance car with full cover for the passenger compartment. The car can be folded up for storage. Presumable it is an all electric drive vehicle for ease of maintenance and to eliminate the the issue of cranking the start motor of the combustion engine of the day. Anyone know more about this vehicle, please send me a message or comment with what you know. Another electric car similar to this has 4 wheels, is all electric, with a front entrance door. I'm finally able to show in this video that my cheap little water bottle Stirling engine can charge 12-volt batteries! This opens up a whole new world of applications for it, whether 12-volt lights, pumps, fans or even 120 volt devices by means of a small inverter. Keep in mind that the engine can run on whatever source of heat is sufficient to drive the engine, including wood, charcoal, alcohol, rice husks, solar energy, and so on. Note how the current flow goes from negative to positive as the little electric motor changes from starter motor to generator, and then back after the flame is put out. You can also see the battery voltage drop initially until the generator kicks in and then it climbs steadily until the flame is put out and the speed drops. The batteries are two 12V 7AH sealed units from old UPS systems. This has been a real milestone in the development of this engine and I'm pretty pleased about it. Very fun stuff!!. + Informações

"Turn To Stone" was a 1977 song by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra. The song was the opening track to the double album "Out Of The Blue", and was the first song released as a single from the LP, reaching #13 in the US in early-1978. The song was composed in Switzerland during Jeff Lynne's two week writing marathon for the double album. Lynne played the moog bassline of the song. On November 4, 2008, Jeff Lynne was awarded a BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc) Million-Air certificate for "Turn To Stone" for having one million airplays. "Out Of The Blue" was the seventh studio album by Electric Light Orchestra, released in October 1977. Written and produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, the double album is among the most commercially successful records in the group's history. The large spaceship on the album's cover, by now symbolic of the group, was designed by Kosh with art by Shusei Nagaoka. It was based on the logo Kosh designed for ELO's previous album, "A New World Record" which connected with "Star Wars" and "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" fever. It also looks like a space station with a docking shuttle from "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968). The number JTLA 823 L2 which is featured on the shuttle arriving at the space station is the original catalogue number for the album. The album also included an insert of a cardboard cutout of the space station as well as a fold-out poster of the band members.
