Here's a little demo of the soundtoys EchoBoy to showcase how it does vintage delays really nicely! Almost all of the delay plugins I've encountered REALLY lacked character, but this thing is definitely something else .. I showcased the delays in this order using one of the Spectrasonics Omnisphere Rhodes models: - Binsonette - Memory Man - Space Echo - Ambient As you can hear, I'm using the same loop and letting the delay ring out so you can hear the character in the decay and how it smears really nicely. Here's the soundtoys EchoBoy in action. I used the same settings on the Binsonette model as in this video of the soundtoys EchoBoy I did: - www.youtube.com .. but I added Ableton Live's Reverb which I tweaked into a modulated reverb. I used the same Rhodes model as in the last video to take over the lead guitar sound that is used originally.
