Good Evening Ladies & Gentlemen. Welcome to a brief lesson in Sentai Toy History by CCLemon99... Just kidding. Here were have the...*the* Dyna Brace. This was made way back in 1983 and was released under the "Anime Watch" banner [Bioman's Techno Brace also has falls under the Anime Watch umbrella]. What the Dyna Brace basically is, it's a watch sized replica of the Dyna Brace that actually tells time! Sweet! I guess this can be atributed to the design of the Dyna Brace, but regardless it's a truly awesome feature. Wearing the thing can be a bit of a pain if you're an adult. Luckily I snagged one, the loose one, for dirt cheap [Y500!]. So that is the one that I wear in the video [also the one that I played "watch doctor" on and honed my watch repair skills]. The elastic band is obviously a bit snug as it's made for a child. The loose one I have was a tad stretched out by the previous owner which actually made for a loose fit on my arm. The watch itself displays the time [which was easy enough to set without reading the instructions] and has the neat animation of Dynaman doing what Dynaman was most memorable for: posing infront of a giant explosion! Awesome background! Dynaman actually predates Power Rangers in the jump from Sentai series to American TV. Alas, it was brought over as a parody dub in the late 80s on the USA Network. So one can also conclude that no toy was produced for the US [though Dynarobo was released before the series aired!]. Yeah, no Dyna Morpher .... + Informações
