The Story of the Prophet Yusuf (Peace Be Upon Him) Yusuf (Alayhi Salam=Peace Be Upon Him) was one of the sons of Ya'qub (Alayhi Salaam). His mother's name was Raheel. He was adored by his parents and was his mothers first child. He was know for having dreams. Yusuf (Alayhi Salaam) told his father about a dream he had, where the sun, the moon and eleven stars bowed down before him. His father being a Prophet himself told his son the interpretation of the dream. He told, Yusuf (Alayhi Salaam) that he would also be a great Prophet and all would bow before him. Yusuf (Alayhi Salaam) older brother's were furious about the interpretation. They had grown exceptionally jealous of Yusuf (Alayhi Salaam), because of the special treatment by their parents.
