Based on the band/persona Dr. Steel. -- Music is Dr. Steel by Dr. Steel from the album Dr. Steel. List of movies I used below. -- Dr. Steel has since retired, but in his time he was a major steampunk entertainment group, a multi-media franchise, and a philosophical/political movement all in one mysterious person. Originally Dr. Steel was a traveling show but it branched into a short-lived webseries, a live performance act, and a website devoted to the Toy Soldier Army which followed the doctor's professed belief in radical individualism, subjectivism, creativity, and his quest to become World Emperor so he could establish a 'Utopian Playland'. He also believe in an alien illuminati, but it was hard to tell sometimes where his persona ended and his real beliefs began. According to Dr. Steel cannon, Dr. Phineas Waldorf Steel was once a toy maker who proposed unconventional designs for his creations (like dolls with buzz saws for arms) and so was fired from his job...subsequently returning to burn the factory to the ground in revenge. From a secluded island lab he plotted to take over the world through propaganda, giant robots, and experiments on hamsters. The guy was a powerhouse of personality and definitely an artist who loved to appeal to his devoted fanbase. The music is still great, the videos hillarious, and the Toy Soldier Army is still in operation as a charity community. I was asked to make a Dr. Steel trailer earlier so here it is at last.
