Ireland's Eurovision 2012 hopeful Donna McCaul perform's the song 'Topsy Turvy', which made the final at the Malteese National Song Contest 2011 where Donna was a backing singer. This video was recorded at EuroBash 2011 Dublin on Feb 26th 2011. + Informações

Auditioning seemed like a good idea. It didn't go quite according to plan though:- 1. Nerves got the better of us, you can see it in the body language and hear it in the singing. 2. We forgot JUST ONE word and it threw us! (That's pretty good going, seeming as the song is in Swedish, which neither of us speak!) 3. The judges couldn't appreciate how deadly that song is when sung with no backing at all. This footage is from the 2005 edition of "You're a star". It is like an Irish version of X-Factor / American Idol. The judges were:- Music industry exec: Barbara Galavan, Singer: Hazel Kaneswaran, and well known TV and radio personality: Dave Fanning. The prize for the eventual winners, (Donna & Joseph McCaul) was an opportunity to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. We auditioned in our home town of Waterford. Donna & Joe also auditioned there, and were one of the other acts who we chatted to most. V genuine down-to-Earth people. We thought the Sarek song would be a good choice as it already featured in Sweden's Eurovision national final (The Melodfestival) in 2003. It also was a #1 hit in the Swedish charts!. + Informações
