By Donna Adkins, 1976. This is the dwCrooner cover version of "Glorify Thy Name", aka "Glorify Thy Name In All The Earth". The unique arrangement and chord progressions are my own. It's a Christian worship song with a little rhythm behind it. In this video I'm playing the first guitar I ever owned, a vintage 1950 Martin 0018. Some Christians may find themselves back in church on "New Year's eve" partly because they don't want to spend that evening drinking alcohol and doing what the rest of the world does. But however you celebrate it, the traditional concept is to retire the old year and start fresh with a new year. Of the many gospel cover songs that I've uploaded to the Internet, I think that "Glorify Thy Name" and "White As Snow" work best for "Christian New Year's Eve" holiday music.
