Throughout his years, he has been active in his church, local, and academic communities. After graduating from high school in 1997, Cory Jones was accepted and attended the prestigious University of California, Berkeley. While at UC Berkeley, Cory Jones began his ministry pursuit. With passion in his pursuit, Cory Jones served the Greater St. Paul Baptist Church in Oakland, California as associate minister, college minister, and later became youth pastor there.
