Desh was released on 2002 in Classic Bengali film, starring Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Naina Das. Music of the feature film is directed by Partha Sengupta. The story is as "Astha" is a dream project of freedom fighter Suprabha Chowdhury. She put her every effort to make it successful. Her only son Anjan who lived in Boston repeatedly requested his mother to go to States with him. After a long effort, Suprabha accepted Anjan's request.
