Blood DK duels are fun! It's one of those bosses you guys will probably overlook, but I didn't think he'd be doable this tier at all, let alone next tier. If you just watch my health bar, you'll see I (nearly) never lose hp. That's the whole strategy - everything needs to be absorbed into Blood Shield. If he lands a melee hit, he heals himself for 50k+ - considering its attack speed let's say his health goes up VERY quickly. Non-absorbed melee hits from Blood Beasts also means he gains Runic Power, and thus attacks even faster and breaks my shields faster, then drops a Mark and literally crushes my Blood Shields. The longer I keep Saurfang in check, the longer I can DPS him down - I only got his mark at 29% and while my shield was at a nitfy 150k+, ensuring a clean kill. Saurfang gains a tiny bit of Runic Power through some ability (his blood boil or something), so I can't keep him in check forever, but long enough. I stack mastery and stamina as much as I can while retaining enough DPS to beat the enrage. Bone Shield reduces damage taken by 20% but charges aren't consumed since the hits do not deal actual damage. I'm using quite a few tricks to pump out my absorbs, using cooldowns to pump out more and bigger shields and defensive cooldowns to protect them.. as you can see at some point his runic power goes up VERY quickly when the absorb fades. Fortunately, that was the only time I let my absorb fall off. I also get insane superboosted shields from using Apparatus of .... + Informações

So this week I was actually able to get in on the 25m raid, and much to our surprise, we two-shot Saurfang with our refined strategy! Just as promised, here's a new strategy video, this time with better music! Saurfang is a fairly difficult boss in terms of DPS and Healing. Tanking isn't too difficult; the only thing you need to keep in mind is that the two tanks need to swap every Rune of Blood duration, because as long as they have the debuff they will heal the boss for 10x the damage he deals every time he hits the tank. Melee don't have too much to worry about. Just don't aggro the adds and keep your DPS maximized on the boss at all times. For Ranged DPS and Healing, these players need to spread out in a semi-circle around the boss. We do it in pairs to keep the largest gaps between people as we can manage. This helps reduce damage done to the raid and makes the add phase easier among other things. Every few minutes Saurfang will summon 2-5 Blood Beasts which when they hit a player, give him some runic energy. These need to be kited and DPS'd down as soon as they spawn. They take priority over everything else in this raid, and the only way to do this fight perfectly is to never get hit by them. Notice that we use our Shamans and Boomkins to knock them back as soon as they spawn, to avoid getting aggro'd accidentally by the melee. Keep in mind that these adds are immune to AOE damage. Lastly, I'd note that when the boss gets to 100 energy, he will mark someone with .... + Informações
