Here is a project that I made with two classmates (Steven Cron) and (Lawrence Harrison) for Julia Tanney's Wittgenstein Module at the University of Kent. In the video, we highlight the Augustinian picture of language and give some of Wittgenstein's arguments as to why it cannot be viewed as the only means to explain language development. Made in collaboration with fashion house Saint Augustine Academy -The film takes inspiration from the hedonistic Post-punk sub-culture of the 1970's, and is set in Sydney's contemporary art and music community. The story unfolds around a broken relationship and has dual interpretations: one sequentially, and another where the time line is interspersed with the central character's memories. It was made a conceptual way to introduce Saint Augustine Academy's Spring 2011 collection 'Crystal Ballroom'. The locations and cast come from the directors and designers immediate community. This project is special in that it involved collaboration with many dear friends. St. Augustine Class prophecy Batch 2006-2007 The ticker's kinda fast. So, here's a copy. As I sat in the back of my limousine on my way to the mall, I realized that fifteen years had passed since we graduated from our dear alma mater. I know that a lot of things had changed since we parted ways. "Rewind, Pause, Play" this was the theme for our Alumni Homecoming for the batch 2006-2007. It was advertised in one of the pages of the newspaper that I was holding and I noticed the list of CPA Board Exam Passers in the front page and was surprised and happy to see that my friend, Max Anderson topped the Board Exam. Opposite the list was an advertisement for Gateclose toothpaste that features Mr. Jomel Araniego. It was also a part of that newspaper that I saw the new controversial First Aid cigarettes, and I was surprised when I saw that Miguel Rosario, Raoul Mendizabel and Patton Fabic invented them. I put down the newspaper to listen to some music. I asked my driver to play the CD of Rivermaya that my close friend, Megan Acsay gave to me. She is now the manager of Rivermaya, the band that won the 'Artist of the Year' award for five consecutive years in MTV World. As I try to relax myself in the comfort of my limo, I saw a billboard with the design of Ms. Angel Almojuela, Ms. Nicole Arriola and Ms. Christa Quintana. They joined forces to beat the other big time designers like Rajo Laurel, Bong Lazaro and Kat Sy. They built a boutique named "So Fab", which offers great clothes .... + Informações
