17 April1975 is our darkest day, is when many loss family friends and relatives, is the day when Khmer Rouge took control of Cambodia and turned it to year Zero then comes 7 January 1979, when Vietnamese took over Cambodia, some believe it was the liberation, while other believe it was the invasion day. Whatever it is, the highlight was fighting, more fighting and famine that forced many make their way to the border. Smuggle goods from Thai border to Cambodia I will never forget the time, was so small then and we only make our trip at night to avoid Vietnamese soldier, Khmer rouge, bandits being a kid was so sleepy so dad tide a rope to my waist and lead the way more or less I was sleep walking. Travel all night and as daybreak we have to find the hiding place this time not from bandits or soldiers but from artilleries.
